I do not believe

I am an atheist.

I’d say, if you followed my blog you would know that by now. But just in case let me throw it out there for the world to see. As a side note, I wonder how many people will look at the picture for this post and scream “NAZI!”, thereby cementing their status as ignorant morons.

I wasn’t always this way. I used to be a good little boy. Always went to church, said the prayers in school and at our Christmas services. I even attended sunday school back when I was living in the Middle East. When I moved back to Ireland I went to a Christian school, learned about religion there, had my communion and confirmation. I said confession every week in church.

It wasn’t until first year of secondary school when I was about 13 that it finally clicked. I all of a sudden realised I didn’t believe in God anymore.

To warm your soul.

I apologise. I had really meant to finish that post and get it up yesterday, but I hit a little snag. Or rather, a little snag hit me.

I got hit by a car. Fun times.

It wasn’t too bad,  just a little clip and some serious bruising. But it hit my bad leg which I’ve had for six years now and after the last 4 years of just being a mild annoyance it’s actually sore now and hard to walk on. Back to the physio I suppose. But the internet prevailed and decided to be nice to me. Just as I’m ready to slide into a slump again, I come across a simple little image which for some peculiar reason struck a chord with me. So, being short a post, I present this image instead. I can’t say I’ll follow the advice, can’t teach an old dog new tricks and all that. But I’m putting it up here for you.

I am tired and out of control.

Okay, so I had a post, but i’s not finished and I am quickly losing energy here. So tomorrow will mark the first ever Saturday post on Revelations: Zero. Yay! Cheer or…something.

So for now let’s round off the week. I missed two days in a row of Entrecard dropping and I apologise for that. Life has been dealing me blow after blow recently and I simply have no time. I get home and promptly fall unconscious. The odd thing is despite all the times this happens I still don’t sleep well. I just never have energy to actually do anything.

What happened this week…I got Converting Infinity after two years of waiting. I wish I had more. My quality of posting has really dropped as of late, and I’m even considering dropping the schedule. There’s no point in posting three times a week when I really have nothing to post….I don’t know, maybe I’ll manage to get things back in gear. Life’s just been one kick to the groin (which hurts considering I’m male) after another, and I’ve been feeling really down lately. So I apologise on letting that bleed over into my blog. I’m sure listening to me whine constantly is grating on your nerves.

On the upside, I got to spend some time with some of my older and better friends tonight. One of them turned 20 and we had a suprise party. It was quite funny, because she wasn’t expecting it at all and when we jumped out she had a massive panic attack and ran upstair to put on make-up and nicer clothes. Crazy women eh? It was a fun night, but I left once my euphoria started to fade. I’m not the kind of person who can stay at a party for a long time, but it was nice to see them all again and talk to them all.

Truth is what’s transitory

It’s finally here, and early to make it all better.

Converting Infinity by Xentrifuge arrived today, and I guess it’s kind of sad I’m making such a big deal of this, but it’s honestly the best thing that’s happened to me recently. Expect a few tracks to be in my Music Mondays in the next few weeks.

College is dragging along and getting worse by the day. I need a holiday already. At any rate, I shall have a nice post about religion up on Friday. For now though I need medicine and sleep. See you all at the end of the week.
