All quiet on the western front

Incidentally, that is a fantastic book.

I don’t really have much news, it’s been a busy week. Family is coming over from Australia, icluding my uncle who’s not left the country for 20 years. It’s kind of a big thing. For that reason I haven’t really been dropping Entrecards nor visiting blogs and for that I apologise.

Over the course of the next few days I shall be writing a series of stories, so they’ll be published starting next week. Hopefully, if I can get enough time to write them. Looking to have them all relate. If all goes well, I’ll be updating Monday-Friday next week only. Then back to the original schedule of Mon-Wed-Fri.

I’m sure I had something to say…well, if it comes to me I’ll edit this post or ncldue it in my next one.

MM #9: Scatman John – Scatman’s World

First off, sorry to anyone I didn’t drop on over the weekend. I was busy as all hell. I also may not be able to drop on you today for which I apologise. Now onto the Music Monday.

I didn’t have the time to upload anything this time round, or really go looking for something more representative of my music tastes. However, given the rough time I’ve been having I figured it only right that I post a song that never ever fails to cheer me up. I present Scatman’s World by Scatman John. I love this song.

Broke and other useless comments

Okay, I had a whole bunch of ideas for blog posts today but I’m now going on 56 hours without sleep and I didn’t write them down. So I’m just going to write whatever the hell pops into my head. Okay? Fan-frikkin-tastic.

On a personal note, I’m broke. Again. I really wish I wasn’t always poor, but it’s really hard for me to get a job right now and I’m simply awful at poker. Unlike my brother who’s averaging about 50 euro a day playing a fucking card game online. Oh life, how thou dost mock me. To try and rectify this situation from the only place that seems willing to cut me any kind of slack I’m drawing attention to the advertisement page which now has a Donate button. I know I’m pretty much begging here, but I’m almost definitely going to be out of a home come September, so I need food money. Shelter is something I can take care of,  food not so much. If you donate, shoot me an email and I’ll see if there’s anything I can do to repay you.

The Obama-Nation

The US election results were waited on with bated breath all around the world. Would it be Obama or McCain? The tension was almost unbearable. And then we found out…Obama was the newest American president. The world rejoiced. Finally we were going to get someone who could really change the world ruling the most powerful nation on Earth. He’s only been in power for a short time, but already he seems to be doing everything he can to get America back in everybody’s good books.

But, as is usual with American politics, there are a lot of unhappy people out there.

Music Monday #8: CeDigest – Bound [Coil of Faith]

Yeah, so I lied last week. I’m in a simply revolting mood lately, so this song should do quite nicely.

CeDigest are one of my favorite band. Actually, besides one other they are my favourite band. Recently they managed to get a record label signed, so they should finally be releasing their first album shortly. Unfortunately due to their type of music it doesn’t come out so great in a Youtube video because of the compression rates. Still, this will do fine until I find another alternative.

Lyrics are hard to find for this song, so there are quite a few gaps. I’ll fill them in ASAP, a friend of mine is friends with the main man from CeDigest on Facebook so fingers crossed. Oh, and a warning, this song is explicit and very anti-religious. Enjoy!
