You run past a chapel, but you know that they offer no sanctuary in this place.

Ahead of you, the wide doors to your school are chained shut, but this does not stop you and you throw yourself through the glass. Picking yourself up you wince as you feel the glass cut into your flesh, but stopping means worse. And so you run. You run down the hall, heading for the rear exit. But it seems so far away…

A Conversation

“You aren’t the most powerful individual, are you?”

You rise slowly from your sitting position, careful to avoid falling from the cliff edge to the rotting garden below. The Grinning Man clarifies himself.

“She moved on so quickly, and you are still stuck in denial. Hope is paralysing my friend.”

You finally find your tongue and snap back, “We are not friends.”

The Grinning Man simply laughs, his smile ever-present against his silhouette. There is no outline, no defined features. Just a black figure and a cracked, white smile.

“We will be. The sooner, the better.”

MM#10: Necessary Response – Devotion

And so we’ve reached the big number 10 and so we go back to the beginning. Back when I was happy. Things are coming full circle and beginning to look up for me again, so with that in mind I give you Necessary Response and the song Devotion. Once more unto the breach…

So today I finished my college registration and ended up with a fairly top-heavy calendar. I’ve got 7 subjects in Semester 1 for a total of 16 hours a week of lectures, while Semester 2 has 4 subjects and six hours a week. This year shall be difficult.

On the whole I am happy to be going back to college. Over the course of what has been a rather soul destroying summer I’ve managed to keep myself occupied thaks to Entrecard dropping and blog reading, but I won’t have time for that come September, so I will apologise in advance. We go back September 7th, leaving me with just over two weeks to get everything in order. I need to make a list or something.

Another thing I need to do is find a job, a rather difficult task given the current economic climate. Preferably something with computers, as that’s all I really know in life. It’s looking increasingly like I will be without a place to stay and while homelessness is something I can deal with (I know plenty of hiding spots on campus) lack of food and water is not. Finger crossed people!

You may have noticed a drop in opinion pieces lately and a whole load of moaning about nothing. Well to be honest I’ve lost interest in things I used to enjoy. I’m running on autopilot most of the time these days and my sleep pattern is more messed up than ever, as I average maybe 10 hours sleep a week. I will endeavour to give something to you worth reading and commenting on but it’s going to take a lot of effort. As I mentioned in my last post I am working on a short story of sorts for next week which will have its parts posted everyday Tuesday-Friday (Monday is reserved for Music Monday).

One last update, I’m adding an “About Me” page. Seeing as how this is a personal blog it seems to only make sense that I would provide a page where you can learn a bit more about me. I’m opening up here people, something I rarely do. Feel respected.
