This will be my last Music Monday for a while. By that I mean there will be no Music Monday post next Monday, the logistics of organising one will be too difficult. Instead, next week, will be a regular type post for Monday. If I can get one written before this Wednesday. Anyway on with a song.
Last week I chose the song Vapor for a particular reason. Namely that it kind of stuck with me because my signifigant other is a couple of thousand miles away and has been for two months. And will be for another two months. I don’t have the money to go visit her, and because of where she is it’s almost impossible to call her at all. It’s been hard. But this week I simply chose a song that I particularly like and that I thought you might like as well. I wouldn’t call it one of my favourites, but I’ll save those for the week after next. Anyway, here we are:
I’m not a massive fan of Imperative Reaction but I do really like this song in particular. So here it is. As We Fall by Imperative Reaction. As per usual, please support the artist if you like it:
Buy it from Amazon.com. Or Download it. Whichever.
Lyrics:
I’m trying to hold on
But I’m losing ground
Drifting towards the edge
As it all comes down
I’m giving in
There is no answer
Falling down within
Holding on to might have been
(Chorus)
As we fall don’t look down
It’s all collapsing to the ground
Drowning everything we are
Don’t look down
As we fall don’t let go
This is too much to take alone
Watching all the things we are
Fall apart
I’m starting to let go
But it’s too late now
We’ve reached the end
With nothing left to show
I’m giving in
There is no answer
Falling down within
Holding on to might have been
(Chorus)
